Slamone! Finally, I began to think people weren't going to believe you existed. But here you are!
Brava, my feminist diva! I hope you drop in more often. Eileen and I are not your only fans. Au revoir, ma chere. Send my best to JP. He looks a little disconcerted. I hope he's well. xo
What? What have I done to merit such treatment? You know how I feel about being left out. I have abandonment issues. I'm working on them, but I'm still tender.
What a voice! I love this. Yesterday, I think, Slammone liked one of my posts! I was blown away, faint with damned praise. I will miss the live slam this month, though I'll be all over the replay. Believe me.
Isn't she divine, and yes, she has great taste in writing. She points me to all the writers I should be reading. She hasn't be wrong yet, but she likes to show off and send me to French sites, just as a way to remind me that she's multilingual, and I'm just a uni-lingual American. Talk about needing strokes and attention. xo
We talk about her behind her back a lot. She's definitely worth the trouble. She is a feminist icon, after all. But, yes, it gets a little old sometimes. xo
Indeed, we are. I agree 100%. Alas, our society is moving further away from it. As a longtime nonfiction writer and truth seeker, it's alarming to me to see these trends. Thanks for fighting the good fight!

Ok, it’s more of a coat closet.

Shhh! Mon chaton! Don't speak!
I knew she was around. The office smells of smoke and deep thoughts.
We have an office?
Oui, Eileen and I meet zer often. Eileen, I thought you were going to tell her???
A grande faux pas!
I'm distraught that you were keeping this from me. I may have to rethink this association.
Ah, no ma chère! Don't take this to heart, we were just messing with you. Lighten up, ma petite chou! Such a baby, you are!

Merci, ma chaton! Et, oui, you are a very fine writer. A visionary. Like Slamone.

I’m getting the feeling Slamone is a little high-maintenance.
We talk about her behind her back a lot. She's definitely worth the trouble. She is a feminist icon, after all. But, yes, it gets a little old sometimes. xo
Ever young, that Slamone.
She's a hoot, that's for sure. xo
I’m honored to be mentioned in the same sentence as you, Slamone. High praise I never expected.
What a hoot.
Looking forward to 3/21/26.
Me too! Can't wait. Working on all the things. I love my job! xo
Love it, Slamone, B! And here's to fact-checking!
Merci! Without accuracy, we are doomed. And Nan is a stickler about vetting everything. Sometimes, it is annoying.

De rien, ma chère. It is the work of the sisterhood we all belong to.
